Ingredients:
2 pieces Puso ng Saging(Banana Blossom) 1/4 kilo Pork, cut into small cubes 2 tbsp Rock salt 1 tbsp Oil 2 cloves Garlic, minced 1/4 cup sliced onions 1/4 cup sliced tomatoes 2 tbsp Vinegar 1 cup Coconut milk Salt and pepper to taste 1/2 cup Fried tinapa strips for garnish 1 Green hot pepper (optional)
Slice puso ng saging thinly crosswise. Add salt then let stand for a few minutes. Squeeze off bitter juice. Rinse in running water then squeeze dry. Set aside.
Boil pork in 1/2 cup of water or until tender. Set aside. Sauté garlic, onion & tomatoes. Add pork & cook until it becomes golden brown. Add puso ng saging, chili and vinegar. Bring to boil without stirring. Add coconut milk and simmer for 3 minutes. Season to taste. Garnish with tinapa strips before serving. Serve hot.
